Don’t even think of buying your tiling materials and accessories without reading this, it may save you some headaches and some money too and money is always important when installing tiles by yourself.

Last, remember to buy some more tiles that the amount you think you need. There is always going to be some breaking during installation, it happens to everyone. On the other hand they may break five years after you finished the installation and you want to make sure you have some spare tiles stored somewhere. If you don’t you may get in trouble to find the exact same tile/color again. About a 1% extra should be enough for this matter.
